Chair of Schengen Acquis and Combating Cross-Border Crime

Develops specific content for the courses and professional training programs carried out, aimed at acquiring the knowledge and developing the skills necessary to develop cooperation capacity in the Schengen area, developing working skills and applying the Schengen acquis, national legislation regarding the Schengen training areas, especially for the application of specific procedures, as well as ways to check vehicles registered in other EU countries, respect for human rights in the activity of public institutions, European strategies in the areas of border control, visas, immigration and asylum, prevention of human trafficking, etc.

Department of Schengen Information Systems and Police Cooperation

Initiates and ensures the development of specific courses on transactions and positive results on alerts from the national component of the Schengen Information System and courses in the area of competence of the structures involved in the exchange of data and additional information related to alerts from the Schengen Information System. It also ensures the training of end-users' skills in applying specific procedures for identifying a person or an asset that is the subject of an alert, the skills of personnel carrying out activities specific to cross-border police cooperation based on the Community and national Acquis, as well as the skills and abilities necessary for personnel in order to protect personal data, in the field of cybercrime, etc.

Department of Foreign Languages and Professional Communication - Schengen Terminology

Organizes, plans, carries out and evaluates training programs for initiation, improvement and specialization in the field of foreign languages (English, French, Russian), coordinates the testing/evaluation activities of the level of linguistic competence - Schengen terminology of the Ministry of Internal Affairs staff, in accordance with the provisions of the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages and participates in working groups in order to optimize or complete the internal regulations aimed at organizing and conducting courses in the field of foreign languages, and evaluating the linguistic competence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs staff. Organizează, planifică, desfăşoară şi evaluează programele de pregătire pentru iniţierea, perfecţionarea şi specializarea în domeniul limbilor străine (engleză, franceză, rusă), cordonează activităţile de testare/evaluare a nivelului de competenţă lingvistică – terminologie Schengen a personalului Ministerului Afacerilor Interne, în conformitate cu prevederile Cadrului European Comun de Referinţă pentru Limbi Străine și participă la grupuri de lucru în vederea optimizării sau completării reglementărilor interne ce vizează organizarea şi desfăşurarea cursurilor în domeniul limbilor străine, evaluarea în domeniul competenţelor lingvistice a personalului Ministerului Afacerilor Interne.
